The amplifier features 2x6L6GC in the power
amplifier and 3xECC83 in the preamplifier, for a 20W/4ohm output power
(limited by the mismatched output transformer, and the low HT voltage
available with the power transformer - the iron was intended for EL84).
The preamplifier consists in two completely independent channel, each
with three band eq, gain and master. There's the option in the "yellow"
channel to obtain a gain and volume boost called "red" channel (which
has only a "gain" knob).
On the real panel has "presence" and "negative feedback" knobs and an FX loop.
The "blue" channel sounds very *ender, ranging from sparkling clean to
SRV-crunch and beyond (with humbuckers). The yellow channel sound just
like your favourite british half stack, and the red channel can give a
good gain and volume boost for leads or to obtain a very aggressive
crunch sound.
